Singapore zoo is one of the most visited tourist attractions in Singapore. Formerly known as Singapore Zoological Garden, the zoo spreads over an area of 69 acres of land. You can see almost 315 species of animals in the place, 16 percent of which are threatened. The authorities take care to keep them in their natural habitat.
