Lal Bagh in Bangalore

Who hasn't heard of Lal Bagh? This botanical garden is world-famous for its flora and fauna. Also, birds including Myna, Parakeets, Common Egret, and Pond Heron, etc. are found here. The garden has other attractions like a lake, glasshouse, and an aquarium. Every year flower shows and Mango Mela are organized at the glasshouse with great pomp and josh. The 240 acres garden also has Peninsular Gneiss Rock, the oldest existing rocks in the world. The monument that is built in the rock has won recognition from the National Geological Monument.
