The Royal Mausoleum, Humayun's Tomb was constructed in 1572 AD. This historical monument boasts the rich and glorious history of India. The architectural brilliance of the tomb is jaw-dropping. The tomb was built by Hamida Banu Begum as the mortal reminder of the IInd Mughal Emperor, Humayun. The tomb with a height of 47m was designed by the then famous architect Mirak Mirza Ghiyath from Persia. The premises also have other tombs namely; Isa Khan Niyazi's tomb, Barber's tomb, and Afsarwala tomb. A visit to the tomb is unavoidable for everyone who loves Delhi and its history!
