The city palace is a masterpiece architectural work that lies close to the Hawa Mahal. Constructed in 1732, the palace has beautiful complexes namely Chandra Mahal and Mubarak Mahal. The iconic gates of the City Palace Jaipur like the Tripolia Gate, Uday Pol, and Virendra Pol represent the construction style of Rajput, Mughal and European architecture. The city palace has a museum that is known for a stunning collection of royal costumes, and other items including weaponry, Pashmina shawls, Sanganeri prints, Benaras silk sarees, and folk embroidery used by the Rajputs. The visiting hour of the palace is between 9 am-5 pm.
